What if speed was a filter…
Thanks very useful podcast to understand better. Please please please no pineapple on PIZZA!! Ever! 🙂
Hahahah this is perfect to listen to when you are drawing goats on you wacom 😛 interesting cast guys… One thing I personally don't like about SEO, is that I love designing things to give people an experience, buuuut plain text on white canvas and big companies take up almost everything, it's hard for the little guy. (monopol is just whaaa :-P)
A 1,000 pizzas!! "You don't remove them from your cart" 🙂 Good as always and this, except for the Sharks/shards-insider-jokes, would and should make a great new piece of sticky content how a search engine and their ranking factors work. Awesome!
damnn genius
Yes. Quite entertaining and insightful.
Alright, Steve! John, you can be funny too.
I think discussion panel doesn't even know how a Google works 😷. Example of a website that ranks very low specially in domain.
1. Relevant & better content than all 10 competitors. As tested on leading SEO platforms with TF etc.
2. Super fast vs all 10 competitors as tested on thinkwithgoogle.
3. Relevant 4K backlinks + 200 referring domains.
But still Google ranks all irrelevant website on say top 20 and relevant sites come after 20.
IMHO Core web vitals requirement is a shoot in the foot. Site with ads ( from google ) Performance = 26. Without ads: 85
This is fun. I could not agree with you. Because Google's own site page speed is not ticked. He has read page speed again. like, google play store. mobile speed 43 and desktop speed 64. It's too fun.
Steve Wellerman signing off.
comic manss..
tldr it always has been. seriously though thanks for the insight. 🙂
Folks, that was so so cool and fun. Cheers and Wiederlurge
Great podcast
Who says SEO isn't fun? I'm on board.
Some have better Wifi in their Swiss bunker than we have in Germany…. 😀
Showing relevant (and that's subjective, too) results to users in this ever-changing world of Web (and weeding out bad actors) is certainly a challenge. But, from a user's perspective, I'd rather spend 3 or 5 seconds waiting for a page to load than to spend 30 seconds going through irrelevant results.
👍
This one was funny, guys. Thanks!
That 5-7 they were talking about, What metrics was that ? Expecting someone kind enough to clarify my noob doubt.
They talked about that metric again @ 26:26.
I hope it Will be because some sites annoy me
I like the bashing on our (Germany) mobile internet connection. It's a shame. And it's expensive too 🙁
