  1. Its not about reaching the top of the mountain, its all about the climb. And I'm glad you chose to keep climbing with us Jesse.
Thanks to your channel I began my own podcast in order to regularly upload onto YouTube, as music is difficult to create enough content to be favored in the algorithm on the platform.
Since beginning to upload a podcast every two weeks, I already gained 6 subscribers and regularly see my analytics showing organic growth.
6 may not seem like much but that's 2 subscribers per podcast, and in a month that's not bad growth when I'm at 100 followers.

Keep working on it my guy — you're halfway to your goal, but your goal was maybe a bit too high, or the growth is going to come soon explosively — or like you say, success looks different than you expect. You will go further with a smaller, tighter community than a massive empty one. Keep that in mind.

Hope to work with you one on one in the future.

  2. Hey brother! I have a really good idea for a YouTube video that I think your fans would benefit from. As a musician with a pure passion a few years ago I went for it. Going the extra mile a hundred times over to make sure everything was done 110%. I really covered every area and I’m sure if I kept at that pace I would have got to a good position. Unfortunately I burnt out due to mainly surrounding myself with the wrong people and high stress of dealing with it all. I know a load of things I could do better when I go for it next time but you must have some amazing advice with a 100 hour work week and success in loads of areas. Please remember to take care of yourself aswell!

  3. i said like 6 months ago that ‘your channel would be like bitcoin in 2007’. you’re cardano bro. just getting heated up. you’re the man dude, thanks for the wisdom without any strings attached bullshit

  4. One thing to add, I remember watching this guy in highschool do try not to laugh videos and he had like 20k subs, 5 years later he is almost at a million and he's living his best life. His name is nemraps and I think you made a good point on how viewing progression actually makes what you progress.

  5. I found your channel about a week ago and I have never been on such a binge on youtube before. I have soon watched all your previous videos, in about a week. The funny thing is that own your book and read it 2 years ago and it got me started on learning about music marketing. Never thought to look for you online though. But just like you said, things get's easier by time, Because suddenly youtube presented one of your videos to me and I got hooked straight away. You did not have to find me specifically, youtube did that for us… Great content! Keep up the good work. I'm a fan.

  6. I couldn’t imagine 2021 without your videos! But I sure understand how you can’t always keep doing thing when they aren’t supporting you fairly for the time you’re putting in

  7. Great points man, thanks for talking so candidly.
Also, it's cool to see another person in both politics and music! I work in politics for my day job and it's definitely exhausting. What campaign did you work on??
