Is PageRank calculated differently for domains registered before 2004?

Is it true that domains registered before 2004 have a totally different way of getting PageRank? i.e. that “Pre-2004 domains” are highly desirable to buy because they still get PageRank based on old/easier criteria from back then?

  1. I have another related question.

Are domains older than 2 years ranked better in search results? Because that makes a little sense if you think about it. Is this true or false?

I had a site that was a week old and appeared #1 google.gr result in some queries and the pagerank was "Unknown 0". I had beaten some sites with pagerank 2-3 only using white hat techniques. The site was highly speed optimized and it had valid XHML/CSS.

  2. Yes that's true matt Their is no difference between Year all depends on the Back links and Reputation

Rule is 4 all theory from Google…. No partiality for 2004 or 2010

    Thanks Matt
