  1. Hey Jesse I've got a question for you: Do you know any service that lets you give something in exchange for email adresses without owning a website? Say I build an instrument and want to give the documentation to those who give me their email, or give stems of a mix etc… I can't seem to find anything about it. Thanks!

  2. This is OT but I've been trying to find an answer on this but can't. I thought "Jesse definitely knows this", so here I am, screaming into the void / your comment section. I want to rebrand one of my projects. With distributors like CDBaby etc, you … can't. They advise to make a completely new artists. You can't reupload old music under a new artist name, the platforms will simply mute the music. So here's my question: can you trick the system by, for example, remastering stuff and reupload it? I reckon they'd flag it up anyways. Have you had a rebrand in the past that went through a distributor and not a big label? How did you / would you go about it? Any and all input on this would be appreciated a ton! Cheers.

  3. brother i have accumulated 60 million views on one song of mine. it does 60,000 streams a day…. BUT… my NEW music doesn't even get that in a month. My views come from the 600k personal and private playlists the song is in. So I dont know how to reach out to those people to find my new music… You'd think with 340k monthly listeners my new music would get more views than it does… thanks for your insight if you feel like replying family. maybe we could do business sometime.

  4. Is performing / opening at shows (where the overwhelming majority of the audience doesnt know you) a good way to build your community? (at under 1000 fans) And how good is it compared to other methods?
