  1. I have a question, it feels like on tiktok you only get 200 views a video even on good videos. I’m wondering if ads are really that bad because I find it makes it a lot easier to find people that really care about your music

  2. DUDE PLZ can i ask you something? what is your thoughts on uploading music videos through vevo in 2024? cause i use ditto to distribute my music, and u can create a vevo channel and upload ur music video for a couple bucks, do you think this can be helpfull or doesnt really worth it??

  3. We used Bandzoogle for years. It was a great service! You need great photos + a killer logo to take advantage of their templates. They featured our site regularly and asked us to be an artist rep at their NXNE booth (pre-DistroKid). After a while, we found their templates creatively limiting and wanted to make our own WP site to save on the monthly zoogle USD fee (we’re Canadian). Our guitarist is a designer, so not every band has that option, and if you don’t then you are watching the right video! 🥳

  4. Thanks for all the great content, Jesse! I've been a Bandzoogle-based artist for about five years now. I am generally pleased with how my website looks and the ease with which I can keep it updated. However, I have never really found the platform's unique built-in features for musicians to be all that useful; they tend to manifest as lesser versions of tech that is available cheaply or freely elsewhere. And BZ is kinda spendy, so I feel like I'm definitely paying more than I should, for features that are not actually useful. All that being said, the cost of switching over to another platform at this point would be higher than the cost associated with remaining a Bandzoogle user. And yeah, my site looks pretty good and generally does what I want. My honest review.

  5. Dang wish I knew this! I already built my website thru WordPress! seems like this would have been easier. It's up and running but damn lol. Great vid. When my subscription is up, maybe ill reconsider

  6. Hi Jesse, great videos, is there any chance you could do a video on superfans platforms such as Openstage and Leylo and I am sure there are many more. Maybe include a bit more about special content in Discord and WhatsApp groups. Thanks

  7. Thanks Jesse. I remember you saying a while back that you didn't bother with websites until shopify as the bonus of that is that it can integrate into the backend of Spotify – can bandzoogle do the same? thanks 🙂

PS: just dropped my debut music video yesterday, 80's themed, I think you'll like it 🙂
