Music Marketer Jesse Cannon outlines effective strategies for musicians looking to go viral without posting excessively. It emphasizes the importance of quality content, unique collaborations, and leveraging house shows for exposure. It highlights the potential of short-form videos, storytelling, and humor in engaging fans. The script debunks the myth that success requires a large catalog of songs and stresses the significance of finding the right audience. Additionally, it explores the benefits of borrowing elements from other genres and integrating Easter eggs to spark fan conversations. Practical advice on using text replacement for time management and insights on the role of passive listening in music discovery are also shared.

Could create a video around my new singles, but it has to be a club,or something
There was a time I wanted to make music my career but now, I've realised it's not worth the trouble. I enjoy my 9-5 job, after which I clock out and do what I actually enjoy doing. I've torched my social media and I couldn't be happier. I still produce music but whenever I feel like it, nobody tells me nothing.
Jesse u only drop Gem after Gem man u are a 🐐
Preach bruv!
Dumb question but when should i start posting content around a song before releasing the song? Like a couple weeks?
Im thinking i could slow it down and put it under a short work-out video or so, maybe add text like "What genre is this" on the screen?
Idk, just thinking about what kinda short-form content i could do
Atari Teenage Riot… now that's a name I haven't heard in a loooong time.
A lot of great ideas there! Thx for sharing 👌🏽
hmmm i think some of these are stepping into 'use a Cminor there instead of Cmajor' — the more of these tips that assume we know what we're doing with the music side of things, and need help with more social/industry type stuff. good clip all the same 🙂
thanks for these gems again Jesse love these type of videos 💎💪🏽📝
