  1. I think a reason some people would add like a video game sound in something serious is for texture because if it’s all black or all blue that could get boring but reality is like a little bit of two contrasty things , u feel me ?

  2. I watched this a while ago, but I came back to comment because it's been super helpful. I was doing too much musician wanking that was fun for me, but losing the plot of the song. On this last arrangement, I told myself "you have to make the bass cry"…I used a wah.

  3. 1:21 damn banjo gets no love! If you like the 1975 tho I think The Birthday Party actually has my favorite application of banjo in any recent music I've heard. Thanks for making these videos btw, I've watched and enjoyed a ton of them, super helpful stuff for real.

  4. The mic clipping is absurdly terrible. It's so harsh on the ears. I can't take this seriously, I'm sorry, but you gotta figure your microphone out before you make content about any sort of AUDIO PRODUCTION.
