What signals are used in ranking other than PageRank?

I see so many people asking “Will this increase my PageRank?”. Could you tell them *once again* that ranking is not just about “PageRank” but also 200 different signals? And while being there, why don’t you tell us about those 200 different signals?

  1. page ranking is important if you can get all your pages rank at the first of google thats mean you kicked all your oppositions or comparators to page 2 or 3 of google. I have a website and all my pages of the website at the pages of google. more sales. type poker hire auckland or poker hire you will see what i mean

  2. @dpfirsl I've started to pull in some serious cash… best day so far was $2900. Finding the right niche is key… without that you've got nothing. Check out this course before he goes private -> bit.ly/QZP3eK?=gasrwk

  3. @bizzchannel Not to enter into a nomenclature war, but from Google's technology overview page:

"We use more than 200 signals, including our patented PageRank™ algorithm, to examine the entire link structure of the web and determine which pages are most important."

Looks like they use both terms interchangeably.

  4. I like this format with the camera moved back. Talking heads get boring, but half a body–with a shirt, whole arms and moving hands, nice background imagery–make for a better viewing experience.

  5. I'm guessing you mean bounce rate at near the end of the video which i'm sure is one of those 200+ factors 🙂 I agree usability is very important – which is why bounce rate is a great indicator of this.
