  1. Hey There Jesse, I had a question that might sound silly, but I wanted to be sure of asking it anyway. I make music on which I sing in Dutch, does that mean I should pitch in Dutch as well or should you always pitch in English?

Thank you for all the help!

  2. Hey man. Nice videos. Is pitching a week in advance of release significantly worse than 2 weeks out? 2 weeks is a bit long for me currently as I feel pressure to drop this ASAP (I have a music video for it too) so not sure what to do.

  3. I wish the release radar thing were true. With over 1000 followers, I've had releases (which I pitched in advance, and did get on release radar ) – but the release radar only yielded like 90 plays in the week lol. I mean maybe only 90 of the 1000 followers actually listen to release radar… but I kinda doubt it. They use release radar as more of a preamble to discover weekly now – I.E. if your track is doing extremely well, they will put it on release radar OF A BUNCH OF STRANGERS (which is cool), and then depending on how it does from there, it may make it to discover weekly.

  4. Come on, that joke about not reading got old by the 3rd time 🙂 I did read the Spotify's articles, but repeating the info in form of human speech helps to better soak it. Also I didn't know about the 20%, it actually is pretty encouraging, I thought only the luckiest and trendiest people get to be featured.

  5. Do you consider having a pre-save as being the same as using a teaser? It makes sense not to bother with a pre-save if you don't want to annoy your fans with content that isn't available yet. What do you think of using gateways/hyperfollows to get people to automatically follow your music when linking through to Spotify? Is that still one click too many to get people to your page?
