Make a bond with people for the convo of music . Man another big factola . Full time producer and artist here and as I grow I cherish the few friends going thru it that I can chat with . Just speaking the same language with people can really send the mental health thru the roof. Hence me YouTubing random words to find others that speak the language . In this case U and Loren
Great point about writing "song skeletons" – I do this aaaalllllll the time.
I spent the last couple days binging your videos and I just want to say thanks again for all you're doing. Your channel has been like a good book that is hard to put down. Speaking of which I think UPS is set to deliver your Processing Creativity book to my house today and I'm super stoked! I may need a bit of break to go over my notes from your videos and let all of this tasty brain food digest a bit before I dive into the book, but I have a feeling it's going to be hard to resist cracking it open as soon as I get a chance.
P.S.: I suuuuper appreciate the speed with which you dispense information. You speak quickly and you're aware that we can always pause the video if we're taking notes, and I don't have to mess with the playback speed or anything. If there's one thing I can't stand it's videos that take too long to get to the point or just rehash the same things over and over again. Your style is much more digestible for me and while I may be in the minority I just want to let you know it's very much appreciated. Thank you.
AWESOME ADVICE! Thank you, Jesse and Loren for giving totally new artists something tangible to work with!
I had a great time. Thank you Jesse!
This guy is awesome, he has such a colorful spirit
Interesting topic! I love how people started bands even when they didn’t know how to play back then. That’s so cool
