Didn’t expect to be drinking at 6:26 in the morning but here we goooooo
When you’re a new artist it’s really tough unless you sign with a big label.
In your opinion, for a band, performing isn’t a necessary part of the plan? Curious 🙏
Keeps saying: Your fans Your fans. People that are not famous do not have fans. Your strategies are geared towards people who already have loyal following. Useless otherwise
I think this is brilliant and probably works super well but it is also stressing me out hardcore and kinda makes my soul hurt a bit. I just want to write, record and perform music, not make a ton of throw away content. Is this the only way to be a professional musician in the modern era?
BREATHE THROUGH YOUR NOSE!!!!
Just kidding. This is a great video and you seem incredibly intelligent
Great video, A lot of ideas very worthwhile. As someone who has just released my first solo single June 28 after being in many bands for years this was super helpful. I have that eternal inner battle im sure many others have, with posting and promoting myself and my music tastefully while remaining consistent and visible enough to be effective without bothering people haha.. Anyway, just wanted to say, thanks for making this.
the guy you hate being around but he got that knowledge

Hey do you have a YouTube subscriber plan link ?
I could try this sounds easier than 8hours in the union
dope ae shirt 😉
Industry plant based god!! 🤯
I thought I liked you. Now I KNOW
another question. What do you mean by a playthrough/BTS/VLOG video from the spreadsheet? I have a video of me making the beat and another discussing the cover art but not sure if this is the best thing. Also, should i upload this post as a video or as a short? Thanks again
Following this for my latest release. Just had a few questions. I know you've talked about using niche Tiktok hashtags to depict who your content is going to push to first, but do Youtube and Instagram work the same way? You've mentioned before that the algorithms are different, but just wondering in which ways? Should I be using the same hashtags for all 3? Thanks.
I came un prepared and ran out beer finna head out to the store anyone else be need some?
Where did you get these realistic fake comments from? It helped you grab the algorithm lol
Holy shit!!!! You're AMAZING!! Thanks for the info and spreadsheet!!
You give me Seth Rogan vibes
Watching in 2024 but still good content… especially the catfish heartbreak example.

Would be so great to have access to beauty filters features, similar to Snapchat. The temptation to press record would be irresistible 👌🏾
What about releasing albums.?
I’m trashed dawg
Hi Jesse. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
I have a doubt, it's enough having just TikTok, Instagram and YouTube for following the plan? And another question, having 2 social media could be optimal when you have 0 fans and starting to release music?
Love the eye contact to death, really makes the whole thing feel like its a 1 on 1 conversation, checkin in now with 83 Subscribers, lets see where 60 Days can take us

This video has a lot of great promotional ideas! Thanks for sharing!
thank you for this man!
Great video, thank you! Im confused about the video you said was linked concerning Release Day? Is that a separate video I can watch, or an just a part of the topics covered in 'The Best Way To Release Music In 2023 // MUSIC MARKETING' video?
Best!
I love this Jesse, thank you!
Question, I know its not so recommended to release a song on December, but Im looking at releasing around Dec 11. Do you think this 60 day plan would work on the holiday period? Maybe it becomes a 70 day plan where you take a few days off here and there over xmas new year?
Hey that October Drift band does RAWK! That Tik Tok clip of them rocking out is hard not to click on.
I have an issue: since I'm a personal account (under 1k) I can't add a link in bio. I don't want to go business because then I won't be able to add other music (such as my own releases on Spotify since I distribute it through a label's distrokid). Am I missing something?
does this video still apply 6 months later you think if you are just starting out? and When you say Day 1, do you mean when the actual song is on Spotify/ All streaming services to play? Should we still submit 2 weeks in advance?
Quick question: if you release on Friday (instead of Wednesday), is it better to switch day 4&5 (light promo) tacticts with day 2&3?
Great content by the way! Real & clear cut stuff!
Catfish😂
Thanks for dropping so much knowledge Jesse! Really helping us understand how we can grow our fanbase in a real, organic and "non-cheesy" way. Great to know you worked with Basement as well, one of our biggest influences. How was working with the lads?
Actively taking notes!
As always great stuff. This makes a lot of sense and I understand why it will work. I have a question. Do you recommend using this strategy/plan for a single you released but was never able to market or promote?
How can you gain an artist account for your single? I'm new here so maybe this has been covered, but I used Distrokid to get my single on streaming platforms. However, my single is through a verified artist account and I don't even get to control it. So, I'm lost because I'm in the process of making my next single but want to do it right. Help please
Hey, I signed up to get the release plan but it was not sent, is it still available?
@musformation do you refrain from posting the song coverart or coverart animation videos on Instagram the first day of release?
Man great video! but my question, how do you decide whether one should release singles or release an EP? I've got 5 tracks ready to launch. 3 out of the 5 are single material. pulling my hair out trying to decide whether to put it all under1 EP under the main single's name or to drag them out as singles. If it was all under one EP i would definietly use the waterfall method, and maybe the last 2 would release together to complete the EP, but the other way also feels just as effective. which to decide?
Absolutely amazing and the most helpful information I’ve learned Jesse!! We’re getting ready to release an album. Would you say releasing the singles every 2 months still applies? And then dropping the whole thing at once after that?
Hi Jesse, thanks so much for all the incredible information you're sharing! I have one question, and I apologise if you covered it somewhere and I missed it – what is the main reason for releasing the album art video and lyrics video before the full-on music video? thanks in advance for your answer!
Thanks Jesse!
Good plan! Except that when your music is without lyric, I wonder if there's some alternative for the lyrics videos.
This is gold. We are going to follow your spreadsheet as closely as we can (while keeping our sanity), and come back to share the results after the 90 days are over. Maybe combine this with some facebook ads, even though I know you hate them.
