The idea is “yes and” not “yes but”. This is great advice. Keep digging deep for these types of videos. Streams are good to focus on, but these types of creative leadership ideas are wonderful for those of us running a band. Thank you.
This is awesome advice man!
Gems on gems
Yes, a wonderful video, probably a lot of time was spent on editing, but there are only few views. I advise you to move through official services such as Utify.io, continue to shoot.

These are some basic people skills that apply to many areas of life. Well put, I appreciate this video very much. I must admit I that I used to make these mistakes in the past, but hopefully no more.
Great video Jesse! I'd like to see an in-depth video on how to get vocalists to perform better.
Since I'm usually the principle songwriter I'll often have an idea of the arrangement in mind. But like you advised, I'll present it in its most basic form to the other musicians first and let them fill in the blanks. Only once they've all had input do I offer my own ideas.
This is just great life advice in general.
This is gold, Jerry! Gold!
Your channel isn't as slick and popular as other people's in the same field, but your videos are densely packed with lots of great tips and insight. I expect this channel to be much bigger in future so just saying "good stuff" before I get buried in the ocean of comments that will probably be here in the future.
Consistent and reliable information
+1 for quoting Lynch. Great advice for better collabs for sure. I think you need to leave your ego behind when collaborating. I remember the first time I tracked with a band and the lead guitarist (who was amazing btw) pretty much made me sing the song exactly as he envisioned it from his demo track. The track came out ok but the experience was really off putting, when i started working with another group in a far more collaborative form I found I grew so much more as a writer and artist. anyways i typed for a long time, my bad. good vid.
