1.) White or brown rice.
First melt some butter,on medium heat in a smaller pot(preferably with a thick bottom). Then add rice one or two cups this all depends on how big of a pot you have and how much rice you need. Stir all the time until all of the rice is coated with the melted butter. Once all of your rice is coated take the pot off of the stove then smooth all of the rice out to make a flat bed of rice. Next comes the water, all you need to do is add water until the water level is about one inch over your bed of rice. Its dose not matter how much rice you are cooking one inch over the rice. Put the pot back on the stove on high heat until you see steam coming out from the lid. Once this happens lower heat to low and set your timer to 20 minutes.( DO NOT TAKE THE LID OFF FOR THIS 20 MINUTE PERIOD Thanks) Once 20 minutes are done take the pot off of the heat and fluff the rice with a fork basically lightly stir rice. Put the lid back on with no heat for 5 more minutes then enjoy great tasting rice!!!
