Hello team, I own a website that is under attack at the moment. The attacker has created copies of every site that links to mine, and then added casinolinks combined with other "no good stuff" (bad words). And all the bad copies continues to link to my site, but with incorrect anchor text. It also seems like there is a bot that is "clicking" the google results for my keywords and instantly leaves my page.
It seems like if I visit the copied site: copy.com/random_page.php it seems to make a call/curl/wget/file_get_content or similar to the orginal server: original.com/random_page.php, downloads it and then presents it to the visitor but replace all the anchors with adult or casino words.
I have disavowed all the doamins Ive been able to find, but sadly all the rankings has gone down the drain.
It also seems to be links to our site from very odd places in a totally different language (like chines or korean), with absolute no relation to our site.
We are talking about over 60 domains/sites that are cloned but loads extremely slow and with very bad content. We have gone from being rank 1-3 on over 100 keywords down to rank 10 or less.
What is your best advice to handle this?
Let me get this straight; user-agent-specific server-side caching is a great way to go. Correct?
