Why is that when I buy a domain from Google and create a site from google site, I have to manually edit the DNS settings in third party domain host to get it hooked up, and I have to manually try to index my sote. Shouldnt it be by default? If I had used wordpress I wouldn't have such issues. Just dosent make sense.

google sucks now, discover is dead and google sending traffic away from publications
I've been doing seo since 2010. What's happening lately I've never seen before. It takes too long to read new pages on the sites not just days but even after several months. Even on old sites. What I've seen lately is that it indexes a page and after a few days de-indexes it. For no reason, on a medical topic that talked about dementia and psychotherapy. This is madness.
Another crazy message I got in google search consone is "we know your page exists but we're not indexing it yet so we don't burden your site". All the sites I manage are fast and open in less than 1 second.
I have created a new blog on blogger for over 2 months and it stubbornly refuses to index it. I have submitted the sitemap and has 2-3 backlinks on it.
I haven't seen the video yet! I hope this answers some of my questions 🙂
