Very useful indeed – but I'm not quite sure about the Piers joke @JohnMu 😉
Some new insights, thanks! Great presentation
Google Bot likes that boat, holy S*** haha.Awesome presentation team!
Good
Very informative!
21:52 He is saying that make great sites with HIGH-QUALITY images. But to get high ranking, they say that compress your images, resize them properly, so the browser doesn't have to work on them. And the speed of the site will be boosted, and SPEED is a RANKING FACTOR. How even it is possible to make the compressed image great again? :/ Are you kidding us?
32:57 Hi Piers…oh brilliant. And both Martin and John have English as their second language. The best typo I've seen for a while.
When Google brings out the info for the large image structured data. Could you give some proper examples! Martin and John in your talk (see here: https://youtu.be/ufcijo46LCU?t=1589) – this is actually not helpful to the real world. For example most blog pages being marked up would have the main @type of 'article' and so my point is you guys need to create some code examples that are not just a single image. No one in the real world has a web page with a single large image! In a real world many people would have an article and the primary image is a large image. Please create proper code examples when writing the doc's – thanks.
I have questions why you are puplish your video only in English?
You have upgraded the Google Search console, but many of the features of the OLD search console are not available, so basically you have DOWNGRADED the search console. On top of that I'm having a bunch of problems with the new one.
nice looking images are typically larger than the smaller one modified for the web. What is more important now? Larger images with better detail or speed?
I'm glad I found this video because I've been having all kinds of issues.
Great video! Pro tip: Connect Search Console with Google Data Studio and data magic happens 🙂
