Grammys
i'd love to see how rigged the grammys are
Had a producer in the early 2000's that filled us in about how the industry works.. It's all bought and paid for. From the Labels, Publishers, and artists themselves, it's all bought and paid for. Grammys, awards, streams, interviews, news stories etc… Paid for, bought, bribed, payola, etc.. Absolutely bought and paid for
grammy
Reminds me of the little scuba guy on deuce bigalow. “If you work really hard this could be you! Thank you for your insights and tips 😊
That's mental, 1975 one of the biggest acts in the world…barely in top 500?
Wanna join you’re members only content on YouTube but it’s there’s no option to join :/
Interesting points! I do wonder though, as someone who likely caters to independent artists, is there a risk of offering just enough advice to keep us engaged without truly giving away all the keys to significant independent success? If everyone who watches this videos will achieve success, the audience will shrink.
Love this format
This was really helpful
I dig this format
When are marketing gurus going to realise that not everyone wants to be an artist, and start making content about how to forge a career in ghostwriting..? You're alienating an entire demographic and missing out on countless video ideas.
Most of the best songwriters I know aren't musicians or singers or pop star wannabes, they're bedroom producers who just want their music heard and are happy for someone else to be the face 🤷♂️
Hi, did you delete the 100k live? i was trying to watch it because i asked some questions
This format works.
Grammys, but IDC about Grammys fr
I did 3 million plays, not listeners. that got me to 50k monthly listeners and a meeting or two until my band imploded. It cost more than it made, but there's still residuals coming in a couple hundred a month even years after stopping the gears of promotion. I reflect, and think instead of driving traffic to more streams it wouldve made way more sense financially to drive the traffic to purchasing merch and whatnot. If you're making .003 per stream you gotta figure out how to get someone to play your music for less than that or have some kind of funnel going on that makes up for that cost or you're just spinning your wheels as a business. Probably also better off finding someone way more successful and help them out for a couple years and learn the ropes.
mmmm nice thumbnail love this ones
Are you not going to get into trouble for saying this?
this video is great you’re a very wise person and it’s rare to see someone giving out actual substantive music marketing advice instead of nonsensical slop based off of an ai generated article from a year ago
Great Video. Thanks ❤
Thank you for the high level content.
Grammys
grammy bruh grammy xD
Great follow up video Jesse!
Really love this more subdued format of videos! This is a very important message for smaller artists to internalize, and there are a lot of people who need to see this. Hoping this blows up!
I like this to-the-point format, Jesse.
Perspective changer👌
I have 10 million listeners and all I do is release a song every 6 days and make trash can tiktoks
We def don’t care about Grammys but thank u so much for ur videos !!
I don't care about the Grammy video but holy cow do I ever prefer these simpler videos that look more like yours from a couple of years ago. All the sound drops and zany stuff is just not for me 😂
Here we go!!!!
Eyyy a minute in
