So shirt 10/10
I just made and uploaded my first visualizer thanks to this video
Keep up the awesome content!
Awesome work; but not sure why not using title cards on the title at bottom of screen. Once you make something you like, can save it in a power bin for future re-use and not need to go to outside graphics software. Also; another cool tip is adding movement to still or slow-moving frames. For example, a view at night sitting near a table… add a candle on the table using a clear overlay transparent alpha into your frame. Slight movement adds to the scene; things like flickering light, wind-created movement, clouds, water, etc. can all be animated with 3rd party software. Other effects in DaVinci Resolve like Light Rays are great too. Fantastic work for music creators, an essential video; love the #ProTip idea of 3 video versions of each song!
I want to create a particle music visualizer. Would that be possible to accomplish with DaVinci Resolve?
After I saw JVKE visualizer for some of his songs I had to learn how to make my own. Thank you for making a tutorial! Especially from my favorite music expert! Cheers!
I just came across your channel and I know these videos are gonna help me get to the next level. I immediately subscribed!
Nice! The only thing I might suggest is to leave some blank space below the text. If someone views the video full screen, or on their TV, the bezel may cut off and text. I believe that Resolve includes “safe area” guides. Traditional safe area guides have markers for “title safe” and “action safe.” The idea is that no important action should occur outside the action safe area, and titles/text should be inside the title safe area, but with most modern monitors and TV, just staying within the action safe area is good enough. Cheers!
Looks like a chill evening project. I bought Final Cut Pro over thinking it, Resolve is free and just as powerful!!!
This is so helpful! Thank you!
What if you have a specific vision for a music video but don’t have the budget to realize it? Should you just release maybe a performance video in addition to a lyric video or visualizer until you can afford it and if you do so let’s say 6 month later would it still worth to invest in a music video to a song you believe in but is more than 6 month old?
This is cool way to promote your music. Just wondering how to add an audio spectrum. Thanks for sharing!
Best shirt I've seen u wear
This is cool and helpful! With this advice, I used my iPhone’s iMovie or Adobe’s mobile Rush app to create visualizers!
Can Resolve be used to make Spotify, Bandcamp and/or youtube banners?
This is great! Now to make my own
Wait, then what’s a single screen video? Is it just your cover art with your song playing in the background? Because if you’re gonna put out a visualizer, putting out a boring single screen video doesn’t really make sense to me, especially if the visualizer is going to be the cover art with moving effects applied.
Love the content btw, not enough people tell it like it is! Thank you so much 🙏
If you have access to after effects, it's a great tool for this. It's essentially photoshop with a timeline. You can just bring in your photoshop file, and all the layers and styles are able to be animated and moved around over time. If you've already got design files for your album cover or other merch designs, it's dead simple getting something like this up and going.
Cool video. Very helpful. Thanks!
Brilliant. This is great.
I have done a few visualizer experiments in the past, but you really made it look easier and inspired me. I'm fired up to work on some ideas now! Congrats for the always valuable content.
Welp now I know what I'll be doing for the next 16 hours lol
Brilliant stuff! There is an insane amount of cool video footage on YouTube with a CC license so you don’t have to break the bank making a visually interesting backdrop to your song. Will defo be checking out the distortion effect for a future release. Thanks again for making our lives easier, more productive and fun.
It looks cool, but is that actually what you'd call a visualizer? To my knowledge, a visualizer actually responds or moves to the music – it visualizes the sound.
awesome! thanks
Mad helpful! You've totally turned me onto Resolve.
