That's some great advice, I like these videos.
About half the big leaps in my PhD came from day dreaming, in the shower or when doodling stupid sketches.
This was an awesome video! I feel like 90% of my initial ideas happen in my head, usually far away from an instrument or a DAW. Now I’m understanding why, and you’ve given me tips on how to intentionally visit that state of mind. Thank you so much!
This is so true. A big part of my sudden burst of inspiration lately has been from creating lifestyle changes. Video games were a massive pacifier for me. I was expelling all my desire to "work" in those worlds. Among other things. Heavy incubation going on now.
I will also add, and this isn't for everyone, I'm a big proponent of the strategic use of psychedelic mushrooms a few times per year. Really gets my mind just exploding with ideas at an accelerated rate. I've been utilizing ideas I came up with in a single evening for over a month now. I took a lot of notes during the experience. The key is only to take a little bit. You don't wanna be too fucked up. Lol!

Hey man, great videos altogether, I've been binging them for quite a while now and I'm trying to do my best following your advices (I've also mistakenly done teasers before watching your videos, big sorry).I've got a few questions, do you think that Synthwave is a good enough genre to prosper with? I also used to do mashups and got a bit of a following with them but want to focus the attention on my music a bit more, what would you recommend doing?
