It’s nice to filter the comments from people who want your music to be the best it can be and people who want your music to be something else. Listen to the former.
I have heard you preach this exact thing literally for years. It is still as on-point today as it was on “Off The Record” in 2014.
What I do is fire back reactionary retorts, get hurt and then digest it and realise the person criticising me was right. Best of both worlds. Except that it means that people are a bit more reluctant to criticise after, even when I beg for it
