Yes it answered my question, But If I redirect only my root domain with domain provider like Namecheap, it is enough?
What about 302?
#askgooglebot
only 1 year sir?
Working through something similar that this was really timely on. Have the option to expand our current domain with international folders, or brand new domains with ccTLD. Still not sure 100% the direction we're going to go.
Why do you have to change old references if redirects exist? #AskGooglebot

Hi John, We did a 301 redirect from my old domain to a new one with a 1 to 1 url mapping
turns out the old pages still didnt get deindexed but instead on SERP, it shows a title and description of a new domain URL with old URL instead?
Does this mean Googlebot didn't recognize the site moved signal? or it takes longer for googlebot to adjust to the site migration? Is there anyway to speed up the process? thanks!
@#AskGoogleBot— I have very simple question as we know lot of SEOs are using Forums Threads with signature included does it really work in boosting the keyword rank?
#ASKGOOGLEBOT – So in regards to 301 to a new domain, how long approx before the original SERPS of the first domain to reappear? Its been three months since our URL 301 redirect and we have lost 90% of organic search users
ABSOLUTE INFINITY, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTE TRUE END, FOREVER, N E V E R
Very useful indeed, thanks a lot!
thank you

Dose too many redirects on various pages of site can cause indexing issues?
You also want to keep redirects indefinitely for external links eg links to a default.aspx from 1995 which I found for one major brand 18 months ago.
