Hey real estate professionals! You know you need leads, but where do you actually find them? You know you need to be on social media, have a website, a lead magnet, and places for people to join your email list. Your ultimate goal is to be able to follow up with all of your leads. I know how it works; I work with many real estate agents, helping them get quality leads that are genuinely interested in buying or selling.
Hey there, my name is Brad Smith, owner of AutomationLinks.com, and that’s what we do—we build sales funnels for business professionals like you. When it comes to real estate, I want to share some simple tips for you to start getting leads, no matter what season it is. Whether there’s a recession, or mortgage rates are high or low, it doesn’t really matter. We want to find high-net-worth individuals to come into your lead funnel so you can build a relationship with them.
Most people work with real estate agents based on referrals. So, what you want to think about is, how can I make this person a referral? Maybe they came from social media or Google. How can you build that relationship with them automatically using automation, which is what I consult for? That way, you can build that relationship now, so when they’re ready to buy or sell—in a week, a month, a year, or even in 10 years—they reach out to you first. That’s the ultimate goal.
Another thing I want to teach today is how to follow up with people when they’re ready to buy or sell again. You may work with somebody today, but what about in three years when they want to buy or sell again? Are they reaching out to you, or are they Googling it and looking for other people? You need to stay in touch, and you can’t do this personally one-on-one all the time. So, you need to put automation in place to automatically follow up with those leads.
To be honest, it’s really simple. These are the steps you need to put in place for your real estate business. Most people know they need this stuff; many already have some of these in place, but very few actually have the full system in place. What you want to do is attract leads with your website and landing page. You need to build relationships with your seven automated emails. You need to have a pillar content strategy so you’re always providing value. You need to have social media so they never forget about you; they always see your posts and new listings. This builds trust and a long-term relationship. You need to have a YouTube channel to capture SEO and attract local people moving to your town or city. When they’re looking on YouTube for what your city or town is like, what the houses are like, and what the people are like, your YouTube channel should show up first. Additionally, you need to do blogs so you’re always visible on Google, Google Maps, and through SEO.
What happens is a lot of people have just a few of these in place, but they don’t have the full system. That’s where automation really comes in. If you have a landing page that automatically collects leads and then use an email marketing software like we recommend—MailerLite, for example—to automatically follow up with those people, you’re on the right track. Then, you need a content strategy so you only have to spend an hour a week making content like videos, YouTube, and blogs. You also need a social media strategy using automation that automatically creates and posts content for you. YouTube is where you want to spend your hours making a video and getting that repurposed, and then Google pushes out the SEO with the content you’ve already made.
I want to show you a preview of a landing page we built for someone who does Airbnb and real estate. You can see their listings and all their information, which builds trust and relationships with people. The only place they can go is to fill out that form. After someone fills out that form, they get those seven automated emails. I want to invite you to join my automation playbook in the description below, where I actually give you those seven automated emails that you can plug and play into your email marketing software. If you don’t have one, I recommend MailerLite, as mentioned before.
So, if you are a real estate agent needing more leads or want leads on a consistent basis, and you want to automatically follow up with them, that’s what we do—we do automation. You need to follow those tips: the lead generation, the automated email follow-ups, and nurturing those leads long-term. I encourage you to either reach out to me if you need help with that, or you can use Duda for your landing page, MailerLite for your email marketing, set up a free listing on Google My Business, and use ChatGPT to write your blogs and video scripts. There are plenty of options out there for you to do it on your own, but if you want it done right the first time, make sure you reach out to us.
Alright, get marketing for your real estate business! I’m looking forward to seeing some new leads that you get.
