  1. Works, but I get these errors, I don't know how to fix them. Any ideas please?

Task 'Internet Calendar Subscriptions' reported error (0x00042000) : 'Invalid content near line 346. Line skipped.'

  2. As mentioned below, the settings tab has changed. The secret address is under the "Settings for my calendars" -> "Integrated calendar".

Another point to mention is that outlook 2016, 2019, and 365 has a problem in certain instances adding an internet calendar. Search "You can't add an Internet calendar in Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019 and Outlook for Office 365" which will explain why. You can add it through OWA (outlook web access).

  3. This is my first ever disappointing experience with Google. How can you NOT allow users to sync their calendar with Outlook? Makes no sense. Should be two clicks and done. You're gonna force home users – you know, the people who made you what you are, the people who've used your email addresses for decades and built your business into what it is now – upgrade to a business account just to sync our calendar? smh

  4. The interface for Google calendar has been updated in 2019 so the information in the video is outdated. Now you have to go to the calendar settings and look for "Integrate Calendar" and look for the secret address in iCal format.

  5. Although all the options had moved in my version, I did manage to share the private address of my calendar with Outlook. But it was read only desipte selecting options to allow the recipient to make changes and manage sharing. And then I got loads of errors on send/receive all. The only way to get rid of the errors was to delete the calendar from Outlook. After reading the warning that this would apparently delete all the content from the internet calendar, (nooooooo!!!!!) I first revoked the sharing permissions for that user on the google calendar website and then deleted the calendar from Outlook. So now 1/2 day further on and back to square one. How can this be so complicated?

  6. This tutorial is completely obsolete. The drop downs and settings in this video have changed on the calendars. Following these directions are impossible. Please delete or update to avoid confusion and frustration.
