  1. 2018 and network rendering is still PURE garbage in AE. Some of my AE projects are huge and to collect all the files every time I want to render would be insane. Adobe has really got to sit down and rewrite AE at some point.. It needs more GPU options than just Nvidia, better GPU rendering in general, better network rendering obviously and when they finish that, the can go back and add more toys…

  2. Be sure to set the output path ( Output To: ) when setting this up for the first time or on a new file. If you leave it undefined, you will not able to turn on "Enable Watch Folder Render" in the collect files settings… this had me scratching my head for a few minutes. It is, as described, the most important step after all. Thank you for the great video. Very helpful.
