In this 9th video we will begin creating the multidimensional array in PHP that is the shopping cart. We will use a SESSION variable to store and remember the cart data as the user browses pages. The E – Commerce Web Site we will be assembling is one in which all of the inventory is in a MySQL database and we offer a custom PHP cart for a unique shopping experience.

  1. Tutorial is OK i learned a lot from you but do you really need to be so boring and talk about same stuff for a hundreds of times and talk in circle about same thing for couple of minutes? 🙁

  2. Great job Adam, infinity times infinity!  I was studding the video and the example with the picture of the shopping cart with the Multidimensional array and then putting the picture to the formula was awesome!

  3. This has been the greatest tutorial i've seen online, but i've had a problem with the product.php page, I always get this error when i try to open it online: "Data to render this page is missing. Get ID variable is not set" how do you fix that? Thanks for your help 🙂

  4. It is possible to build a website and use it against a localhost for a school project, then it would only be visible on your computer. I would recommend using wamp (program) as a localhost. you can chose whatever database program you want to use doing this.

  5. Was looking through your tutorials. I'm doing a website for my school project and i don't need a domain. it is possible to create a shopping cart with php myadmin itself?? Please help…

  6. Hi Adam. I'm at the end of my tether here. I have completed this tutorial from start to finish and its fantastic. The issue that I have and you mention it in this episode, is I need to add an option to select a size from a drop down menu and add it to the cart. I have been to your website and gone through the forum with no luck. Is there any chance you would do a tutorial where you add the size option. I have spent days trying to figure it out at this stage.
