Start by going to the Twitter Widgets page.

As long as you are signed in, it will show you a sample widget with your user ID.

You can adjust how the widget looks as well as the size of the widget.

Once you are done with the appearance of the widget click the “Create Widget” button.

To add this to your site coppy the widget code and go to Appearance, Widgets on your site.

Drop a text widget and paste the code into the widget.

There will now be a live preview on your site of your tweets in your WordPress sidebar.

  1. Thank you works great! I have one question, is there a way to slow down the updates coming in from the twitter widget? I find that the constant speed of the incoming updates is messing with my navigation menu on my site. Thanks in advance.
