Summary of this Tutorial:

Start by installing and activating the “No Page Comment” plugin.

Then go to the new menu option under Settings, No Page Comment to configure the plugin.

Check the box for each area you do not want to have comments.

There is also a ‘Disable All Comments’ under “Modify all current” if you wish to turn off comments on previous pages.

If you want to enable comments on a specific page or post you are still able to do so using the discussion check box.

  1. I had SO much hope. I invested SO much faith. Nope. Comments are still there after disabling comments on the page, disabling comments on the forum … and using this plugin to disable comments on ALL pages. WordPress comments are like roaches and rats, you want to get rid of them but really, you can't control them, they control you!
